About the Haugur Salmon Atlantic Fly
The Haugur is one of the best-known modern Icelandic salmon flies, designed by Icelandic angler and guide Sigurður Héðinn (widely known as 'Siggi Haugur')
It’s famed for being a simple, sparse pattern that keeps fishing when conditions are tough, particularly low, clear water and bright days. Widely used for Atlantic salmon and also sea trout.
