About the Black Quill Traffic Light Buzzer Trout Fly
The Black Quill Traffic Light Buzzer works wonders on still waters, specially when fished very slowly on a floating line and with as long a leader as you are comfortable.
The silver bead allows the fly to cut rapidly through the surface film and get down to fishing depth quickly. Be aware of takes on the drop.
A very slow figure of eight retrieve is normally best although, if there is a lot of buzzer activity, a fairly fast stripping can also work well.
This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Rivers & Streams, Still Water
