About the Flexi Floss Red Epoxy Buzzer Trout Fly

The Flexi Floss Red Epoxy Buzzer is a cracking stillwater pattern for trout that are used to seeing (and happily eating) bloodworms and buzzer pupa. The deep red body gives it that "proper meal" look, while the reflective thorax adds a trigger point that can prompt confident, aggressive takes right through the season.

What really sets this buzzer apart is its extra resin coating. It makes the fly almost indestructible and adds useful weight, helping it cut cleanly through the surface film and reach the fishing depth quickly. That sink-and-hang phase is deadly too, be aware of takes on the drop.

Fishing Tips:

Fish it on a floating line with a long leader and let it drift and hang naturally, or inch it back on a slow figure-of-eight. Because it drops through the film so well, it’s ideal for covering different layers. Just be ready, as plenty of takes come as it sinks!
