False Albacore are a strong and lightening fast fish that use their speed and exceptional eyesight to chase down sand eels, silversides, squid and mackerel. They tend to feed near the top of the water column. They are a member of the tuna family and have been discovered by the saltwater fly-fishing world as one of the most challenging species to target.
