When should I fish with the Peach Straggle?

This graph shows trends of when fly fishermen use the Peach Straggle to fish with and what hooks are most popular throughout the fly-fishing season.

About the Peach Straggle Trout Fly

The Peach Straggle is a unique booby. It's peach body ends with a tail made from a Jungle Cock feather, while it's white fluffed up back compliments it's body by having a peach stripe running through.

Expert Tip:

A buoyant fly that is usually best fished on a sinking line and a very short leader, no longer than 50 cm or 19 inches.

It should be presented hovering temptingly just above the bottom, where the fish are often lying especially, during early season.

It is ideal for bank fishing, on still waters and reservoirs and is also deadly when used from a boat with a fast sinking line and allowing the fly to just pop off the bottom.

When it is out and settled, give it a little twitched retrieve, say 10 to 20 cm (4 to 8 inches), which will give the booby 'life' and attract the attention of the fish.

This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Still Water
